Owner
With an Associate Degree in Turf Management, Mark started Salmon Falls
Nursery and Landscaping in 1978. Responsible for all aspects of building
and keeping a business running, Mark's energy and
tenacity have made the company a well
respected asset to the community.
A member of the Board for the Maine
Landscape and Nursery Association, Mark
continues to foster the best practices of
the Green Industry.
Proud father of three girls and
grandfather of two, Mark lives with
his wife in Berwick, ME.
Senior Landscape Designer - Residential/Commercial
Amelia received both her Assoc of Applied Science Degree in Landscape Design & Horticulture and Certificate in Nursery Management from Kishwaukee College in Illinois. She has done residential design & project management for over 10 years in both the Midwest and New England. She joined the Salmon Falls team in October, 2003. Her attention to detail, creativity
and customer service stem from 20+ years as a
Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
A Trustee of N. Berwick Cemetery Board and a
member of N. Berwick Historical Society,
Amelia, too, is involved in the community.
As a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 4,
she and her husband live in N. Berwick.
She loves gardening - go figure!!! Horses,
tennis, hiking and sailing too!
Accounting Manager
Cindy holds an Associates Degree in Accounting and Computer Science. With 10+ years of experience at DOCdata of New England and Enterasys Network, she came to Salmon Falls in the summer of 2002. Her role as accounting manager has grown over the years as the company
has expanded.
Her job entails all aspects of financial data
- A/R, A/P, G/L, Budgeting, Payroll and cash flow
as well as being the Human Resource department
administering all employee benefits.
Cindy resides in Waterboro, ME
with her two children.
Irrigation Division Manager
Raised in upstate New York, Frank moved to Maine in 1987 where he attended SMTC for plant and soil science. He began his career in the landscape industry in 1990. He joined Salmon Falls in the fall of 1996 as a Foreman. He started the Irrigation Division in 1998 and has since become
a Certified Irrigation Contractor. The division
continues to grow and expand under
Frank's supervision.
He spends his weekends maintaining the greens
at the Sanford Country Club. Golf is his
favorite pastime.
Frank lives in Sanford, ME with
his wife and daughter.
Commercial Estimator
He graduated from University of Maine in 1996 with a Bachelor's of Science in Landscape Horticulture. John has worked at Salmon Falls Nursery since 1996 doing Residential Design and Commercial Estimating. He now manages the Commercial Department and does all the bid work
for Commercial clientele. He facilitates all the
required paperwork for existing projects and
assists with project management as needed.
He works at building relationships between
Salmon Falls Nursery and General Contractors
and Landscape Architects.
He and his wife Katie live with their
two dogs in Berwick, ME.
Project Manager
As project manager he is responsible for the scheduling of construction crews and is the field contact between Salmon Falls Nursery and Landscaping and the contractor/owner.
Having spent four years in the Navy, Ed came to
work for Salmon Falls Nursery in 1979. He brings
years of experience with landscape installation
and crew management. He has been the
mentor for all of Salmon Falls' foremen because
of his knowledge of equipment, landscape
construction plans and documents coupled with
his ability to organize and communicate with staff.
Ed, father of four, lives in S. Berwick with his wife.
His favorite pastime, besides spending time
with his 3 grandsons, is hunting.
Maintenance Manager
Shawn Kelly graduated from Fryeburg Academy in 1980 and went on to S.M.V.T.I. to study culinary arts. He was the chef at Berwick Academy for over 15 years, working on mowing crews during the summers. In 2009 he changed careers and came to work for Salmon Falls Nursery as a mowing crew foreman. After only one year because of his eye for detail, he became the
project manager in order to maintain quality control
to the customer’s satisfaction. Shawn has an eye
for straight lines in the grass and hates weeds
in the beds. Shawn now heads our Maintenance
Division scheduling maintenance routes and crews.
He confers with Stuart about upcoming projects
and will continue to oversee the quality of work.
Shawn lives with his wife and two
daughters in South Berwick. His
hobbies include Softball,
hunting and fishing.
Operations Manager
Jason, now our Operations Manager, joined the Salmon Falls team in 1997. He has worked in both the Residential and Commercial Division as both a laborer and crew foreman. He graduated Phi Theta Kappa in 1999 from Southern Maine Technical College with an AAS in Plant and Soil Technology.
He holds a First Class License as a Landscape Arborist
which he received in 1997. He holds his Private Pesticide
Applicator license and is both a Maine Certified Nursery
Professional and Landscape Professional. He became
ICPI certified in 2005. His knowledge and his people
skills help keep the projects running smoothly.
Jason lives with his wife and two girls
in Sanford, Maine.
Nursery Manager
Lisa holds both the New Hampshire and Maine Pesticide licenses. She is certified again in both states as a Landscape and Nursery Professional with the added status of being certified in sustainable landscape in Maine. She has worked in the industry for the past 17 years. Her ability to organize
and maintain the growing end of our business, her
plant knowledge and her ability to work with both
crews and customers makes her an amazing asset.
Lisa lives in Barnstead, NH with her boyfriend
and daughter. She spends her free time
skiing, kayaking and fishing when she
is not working in her yard.
