Wedding plans

A family wedding prompted the renovation of a small city lot in order to have the ceremony at home.

The round shape of the new porch was the driving force behind the entire design and the ultimate renovation of the entire yard. The patio circles, the gazebo and the natural flow of the yard confirmed the beauty of this little space. The owner, a collector of vintage memorabilia, advanced the design process with many of the artifacts he had stored on the property. The cobble walkway was enhanced with gates and lampposts that echoed the antiquity of the gazebo. The pond gave the space added dimension while the craggy old Crab apples and the beautifully maintained Rose of Sharon maintained the authenticity of the renovation.
