Stone collection enhances a Cobble Driveway

The homeowner had attempted to alleviate water issues in a very tight space by creating a “raised patio” with cobbles only to create a tripping hazard. With barely enough room for their car much less seating, a new parking/patio space was designed using the existing cobble and the collection of smooth stones that the homeowners had been collecting from their travels. And the drainage issues were addressed at the same time, pitching water to the street and reinforcing the window wells. Specimen Hemlock was preserved in their original locations at the corner of the new patio.
